Scott Stecker

Scott Stecker was born in February of 1954 and died in December 2012 at the age of 58. He was a game hunter and built custom Harley choppers. He became a house painter and worked in Kona installing gutters. He was a restauranteur, owning 2 locations in the Seattle area. He was best known in Kona as a singer of country music. He was the front man for the Tennessee Leg-Hounds.

A celebration of Scott’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity at 77-165 Lako Street in Kailua-Kona. Following the celebration and service, guests may visit and enjoy a potluck sweet table and coffee on the church’s lanai. A service will be held later this Spring in Seattle.

Scott is survived by his son, Logan; brothers, Steven and Shawn and sisters, Shelly and Susan. He is also survived by his Uncle Robert Dunlap, Aunt Ingeborg and numerous cousins.
