Hawaii Island police are searching for a Papaikou teen reported as missing.
Kayden Fuerte, 17, was last seen in Papaikou on Jan. 7 at about 2:50 p.m. He is described as Filipino and Portuguese, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 140 to 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue plaid shorts, black shoes and a baseball cap, according to the Hawaii Police Department.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311. Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
