Visitation will be held 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Jan. 18 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. A funeral mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will follow. The family requests casual attire and no flowers.
He is survived by daughters, Miya Rubio of Hilo and Tia Rubio of Hilo; hanai son, Jared Texeira of Hilo; hanai daughter, Victoria Texeira of Hilo; parents, Gary and Karen Rubio of Hilo; brother, Nathan (Mariana Echegoyen) Rubio of Honolulu; sister, Kimberly (Ricardo) Azevedo of Waikele; paternal grandparents, James and Marcella Rubio of Hilo; maternal grandmother, Jean Fukuda of Hilo; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
