Curtis Kazuo Shimasaki, 57, of Waimea died Jan. 4 at his residence. Born in Hilo, he was the co-owner and vice-president of Environmental Services, Inc.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Jan. 19 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo; a celebration of his life begins at 10. Casual attire is requested. The family requests no flowers and no koden (monetary gifts).
He is survived by parents, Yutaka & Kazuko Shimasaki of Keaau; brothers, Calvin Shimasaki of Keaau and Russell Shimasaki of Hilo; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
