Hajime Hagio, 95, of Volcano died Jan. 8, 2013, at his residence. Born Aug. 26, 1917, in Mountain View, he was the proprietor of H. Hagio Farm and member of Taishoji Soto Mission and Fukuoka Kenjinkai.

Friends may call at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 15 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 5 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

He is survived by wife, Kiyomi Hagio of Volcano; son, Hiram (Noreen) Hagio of Kapaau; daughters, Sharon Hagio of Honolulu, Ruby (Carl) Soares of Hilo; sister, Hanae Nishimoto of Hilo; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
