Garrick Scott Simmons, 19, of Waimea pleaded no contest Dec. 3 to driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving. He was sentenced to pay $849 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Asbil Latrik, 23, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Dec. 5 to driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to have no-fault motor vehicle insurance and driving with an improper license. He was sentenced to pay $1,021 in fines and fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. He must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time and his license was revoked.

Her license was also revoked.
