Vicente Salmo Sol, 87, of Naalehu died Dec. 15, 2012, at his home. Born Aug. 8, 1925, in Sisim, Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, he worked for Ka‘u Agribusiness and was a member of Naalehu Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. Jan. 12 at Naalehu Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial is at Naalehu Community Cemetery. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by wife, Maximina Sol of Naalehu; daughter, Jacky (Ray) Keasy of Redmond, Wash.; son, Lawrence Sol of Seattle; two grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
