Sophomore Hana Carvalho led the Division II Cowboys (1-0) with 20 points.
For Division I Kealakehe (1-1), senior Deion Utrera led the way with 33 points.
Kealakehe won the JV game 56-47. Mark Grande led the way with 16 points.

c Kamehameha-Hawaii 63, Waiakea 59: Senior Shaun Kagawa scored 23 points to pace three scorers in double figures as host Kamehameha rode a strong start to improve to 2-1.
Senior Ilikai Calip finished with 12 points, and junior Rylan Kiko added 10 for Kamehameha, which led 39-21 at halftime.
Senior Owen Sandstrom led Waiakea (0-1) with 19 points. Junior Dillon Rellez scored 15 points, and sophomore Mark Pacris had 12.

c Kealakehe 80, Laupahoehoe 31: Senior Manase Hungalu was one of four Waveriders to score in double figures as Kealakehe won its opener on the road Saturday night.
Senior JC Nedlic chipped in with 15 points, senior Deion Utrera added 11 and junior Keanu Tilfas had 10.
Senior Jordan Salboro led the Seasiders (0-1) with nine points.
In a girls junior varsity game, Laupahoehoe won 37-32 behind nine points from Shyla Anderson. Kealakehe’s Ashlyn Cabatbat had a game-high 11.

c Hawaii Prep 9, HAAS 0: Kepa Police scored four goals, and Ka Makani rolled at home. HPA improved to 8-0 on the season and is now all alone atop the Division II standings with 24 points.
Kian Quinlan and Justin Perry each scored two goals, and Max Gent added one.
HAAS fell to 0-9.
