Darlene S. Iokepa, 69, of Honolulu died Dec. 23, 2012, in Maryland. Born May 29, 1943, in Hilo, she was owner of Tri-Comm Hawaii and member of the Republican Women’s League of Honolulu, Hawaii.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. Jan. 9 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for a 10 a.m. Mass. Urn burial follows at Alae Cemetery (Section K). Family requests aloha attire be worn.

She is survived by sons, Albert Iokepa Jr. of Honolulu, Donald (Lynn) Iokepa and Robert (Jadelin) Iokepa, both of Hilo; daughters, Karen (Maverick) Rodrigues of Keaau, Lee Anne (James) Manley of Waldorf, Md.; sisters, Donna (Bill) Smith of Texas, Dianne (Moke) Keale of Kauai, Dolly (Bill) Cole of Virginia; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
