Haruko Abe, 95, of Hilo died Dec. 26, 2012, in Honolulu. Born Jan. 30, 1917, in Hilo, she was a housewife and member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Jan. 7 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 10 a.m. service. Family requests aloha attire be worn and no flowers.
She is survived by son, Clyde (Vicky) Abe of Honolulu; brother, Shigeo Murakami of Hilo; three grandsons; three great-grandchildren.
