Susan Rowe Tucker, 65, of Hilo died Dec. 21, 2012, at Hilo Medical Center. Born May 1, 1947, in Lynden, Wash., she was a social worker and an advocate of supporting the Salvation Army and Goodwill Industries.
A private family gathering is planned and her ashes will be spread at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Salvation Army or Goodwill Industries.
She is survived by son, Damon Tucker of Hilo; brothers, Michael Rowe of East Moriches, N.Y., Robert Rowe of Kauai; a grandson; a nephew; numerous nieces.
