Henry Kahsen

Henry Kahsen, 67, of Keaau, died Dec. 28, 2012, at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born in Chicago, he was a retired steel worker for UNR Levitt.

Friends may call at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 7 at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home for an 11 a.m. service. Burial follows at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery No. 2.

He is survived by wife, Cynthia Hockey of Keaau; sons, Rob (Gretchen) Kahsen of Keaau, Henry Kahsen of Chicago; daughters, Rachel Kahsen of Chicago, Heather Kahsen of Illinois; brothers, Charles Bruining of Arkansas, James (Ellen) McVey, Jerry (Marj) Kahsen and Lawrence (K.C.) Kahsen, all of Illinois; sisters, Pat Curran of Illinois, Margaret Sweet of Keaau; five grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
