Jensen was born in Michigan where she began her art career painting in oils. She moved to Hawaii in 1981 and ventured into watercolors. Her work is inspired by her love of the island and its beauty. Her wall art and prints include watercolors, oils, pastels and silk paintings depicting a wide range of tropical flowers and birds, sunsets, landscapes and sea life.

Jensen’s interest in ancient rock carvings has led her to create unique designs on handmade paper featuring Hawaiian petroglyphs and hula dancers.

The new KVA gallery is located in Suite C-110 at Kona Marketplace on Alii Drive. It is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. For more information, call 329-6653.
