Matthew Don Kester, 56, of Hawaiian Beaches died Dec. 25, 2012, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Chicago, he was a forklift operator.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. Jan. 5 at Hilo United Methodist Church for an 11 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by parents, Don and Barbara Kester of Hawaiian Beaches; brother, Scott Kester of Hawaiian Beaches; sisters, Lucy Lombardi of Waxahachie, Texas, Jenny (David) Dodson of St. John, Mo., Amy Davis of St. Charles, Mo.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
