Armando Altamirano, 43, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Nov. 1 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $437 in fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Bambi A. Lau, 39, of Honokaa pleaded guilty Nov. 1 to driving under the influence of alcohol. She was sentenced to pay $687 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Edwardo Reyes, 55, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Nov. 1 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $937 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Kaimana Harris, 24, of Keaau pleaded guilty Nov. 1 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $937 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Cheyne S. Bradford, 23, of Keaau pleaded guilty Nov. 1 to driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving. He was sentenced to pay $824 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Herlindo Sagastume, 54, of Kealakekua pleaded guilty Nov. 7 to driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to have no-fault motor vehicle insurance. He was sentenced to pay $1,234 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. His license was also suspended.

Bernadette M. Valentine, 45, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Nov. 8 to driving under influence of alcohol and failure to have no-fault motor vehicle insurance. She was sentenced to pay $474 in fees in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, and ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment. She must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time.

Gavin Engalla Wright, 23, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Nov. 8 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and failure to have motorcycle/scooter liability insurance. He was sentenced to pay $974 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. His license was also revoked.

She was sentenced to pay $587 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Victor K. Villanueva Berdon, 20, of Kailua-Kona pleaded no contest Nov. 19 to driving under the influence of drugs. He was sentenced to pay $687 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

She was sentenced to pay $412 in fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. She must also perform an unspecified number of community service hours.

Frank Preston Deleon, 53, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Nov. 29 to driving under the influence of alcohol and racing. He was sentenced to pay $1,074 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Anthony Lanakila Graves, 32, of Waimea pleaded guilty Nov. 29 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $937 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

David Eugene Patterson, 21, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Nov. 29 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and refusal to submit to a breath, blood or urine test. He was sentenced to pay $474 in fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. He must also perform an unspecified number of community service hours.

Graham Racine, 29, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Nov. 29 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and driving with a license previously suspended for a driving under the influence conviction. He was sentenced to pay $724 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. He must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time and his license was revoked.
