Ryan Boy Tagay Artillero, 26, of Holualoa pleaded no contest Oct. 8 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $562 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Joshua Jonathan Tejeda, 23, of Yakima, Wash., pleaded guilty Oct. 8 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $412 in fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. He must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time.
Thomas E. Coleman, 68, of Kailua-Kona pleaded no contest Oct. 15 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $412 in fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Melvin K. G. Pauole, 67, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Oct. 15 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $562 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

He was sentenced to pay $562 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Kazuo Keoni Flores, 28, of Maui pleaded guilty Oct. 15 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $912 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. He must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time.
Solomon Kaluna, 47, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Oct. 15 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $912 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Samson Yurong, 20, of Captain Cook pleaded guilty Oct. 15 to driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving and exhibiting speed or acceleration. He was sentenced to pay $896 in fines and fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Kahi M. H. H. E. B. Kaiwa, 19, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Oct. 18 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $937 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Cindy R. Quiming, 30, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Oct. 18 to driving under the influence of alcohol. She was sentenced Nov. 26 to pay $912 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. She must also install an ignition interlock devise and her license was revoked.

He was sentenced to pay $574 in fines and fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Cassandra Campogan, 28, of Kealakekua pleaded no contest Oct. 22 to driving under the influence of alcohol and inattention to driving. She was sentenced to pay $549 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. She must also perform an unspecified number of community service hours.
James R. Eoff, 41, of Waimea pleaded guilty Oct. 22 to driving under the influence of alcohol and consuming or possessing and intoxicating liquor while operating a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to pay $592 in fines and fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

He was sentenced to pay $662 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Bernadette M. Valentine, 45, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Oct. 22 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and failure to have no-fault motor vehicle insurance. She was sentenced to pay $1,459 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. Her license was also suspended.
David Warren Carpenter, 63, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Oct. 25 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $937 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Freddie Beyer Berengue, 62, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Oct. 29 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $662 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
