Ralph M. Shiyama, 81, of Hawaiian Paradise Park died Nov. 28 at home. Born March 18, 1931, in Honolulu, he was a former building inspector for Honolulu City and County and member of Waiakea Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Friends may call at 1 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2629 Kilauea Ave., Hilo, for a 2 p.m. service. Family requests no flowers.
He is survived by wife, Evelyn Shiyama of Hawaiian Paradise Park; daughters, Julie (Henry) Kuboyama of Arizona, Connie (John) Nickerson of Oregon; sons, Benjie Shiyama of Honolulu, Kel (Shellie) Shiyama of Oregon; sister, Flora Murakami of Honolulu; two grandsons.
