Clyde Ryoji Okamoto, 64, of Pahoa died Nov. 27 at Hilo Medical Center. Born Dec. 2, 1947, in Naha, Okinawa, he was the retired proprietor of Hoonanea Farms in Pahoa and member of Puna Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.

Friends may call at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 9 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 3 p.m. service. Burial will be at noon Dec. 10 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 in Hilo. Family requests casual attire be worn.

He is survived by wife, Nora Okamoto of Pahoa; daughters, Kimberly (Donavan) Enanoria, Tracy (Lawrence) Terlep and Leanne Okamoto, all of Pahoa; son, Kyle Okamoto of Pahoa; sisters, Carol (Al) Uhl of Kihei, Maui, Cindy (Andy) O’Callaghan of Colorado; brothers, Calvin (Yvonne) Okamoto and Carl Okamoto, both of Pahoa, Cary (Nam Sun) Okamoto of Arizona; four grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
