Kirino “Kay” Kawamoto, 86, of Papaikou died Nov. 5 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born Sept. 25, 1926, in Onomea, she was a housewife and member of Papaikou Hongwanji Mission and Mill Camp Kumiai.

Private services were held.

She is survived by sons, Earl Kawamoto of Papaikou, Curtis Kawamoto of Honolulu; daughter, Wendy (Mackenzie Kekaualua) Kawamoto of Papaikou; brother, Wallis Nagareda of Papaikou; sister, Shizuka Motoishi of Pepeekeo; numerous nieces and nephews.
