Jeremiah Hui
Jeremiah “Jerry” Mahealani Hui, 67, of Waimea, died Nov. 7 at his home. Born June 12, 1945, in North Kohala, he was a retired construction laborer and member of Local Union 270 AFL-CIO Laborers’ International Union of North America.
A celebration and remembrance will be held 11 a.m. Dec. 15 at Spencer Beach Park pavilion.
He is survived by wife, Jane Higashi of Waimea; sons, Pono (Kuulei Miner) Hui of Paauhau, Rufus (Lado Adlakha) Hui of Santa Cruz, Calif.; daughter, Molly Hui of Waimea; sister, Edna Dela Cruz of Waimea; three grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
