Edith Borges Perreira, 90, of Kailua-Kona died Nov. 29 at Kona Community Hospital. Born April 25, 1922, in Honolulu, she was a retired telephone operator for Hawaiian Telephone Co.
Private services were held.
She is survived by daughter, Valerie Perkins of Kailua-Kona; son, Walter (Karen) Perreira Jr. of Kailua-Kona; sisters, Dorothy Wise of Pearl City, Oahu, Ruth Bento of Hilo; brother, Francis (Gladys) Borges of San Leandro, Calif.; four grandsons; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
