Masae Honda
Masae Honda, 105, of Honokaa died Nov. 15 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Kona, she was a retired macadamia nut farmer and member of Paauilo Hongwanji Mission and Kaapahu Kumiai.
Private services were held. Family requests no monetary gifts.
She is survived by daughters, Hisae Watanabe of Hilo, Shigeko Mukai of Honolulu; son, Nadao (Miyoko) Honda of Honokaa; brothers, Sunao (Janet) Kadooka of Kona, Larry Susumu (Myra) Kadooka of Hilo; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews.
