Harriett Tamanaha, 68, of Hilo died Nov. 14 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she retired as a supervisor Circuit Court clerk for the Hawaii Support and Operations Branch, Courtroom Service Section.
Friends may call at 4 p.m. Nov. 23 at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home for a 5:30 p.m. service.
She is survived by husband, Tsutomu Tamanaha of Hilo; sons, Justin (Joycelyn) Nakashima, Darryn (Iris) Tamanaha and Dayne (Blanche) Tamanaha, all of Hilo, Sy Nakashima of California, Kevin (Nancy) Tamanaha of Nebraska; daughter, Adele (Craig) Shiigi of Hilo; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
