Stephen “Steve” Joseph Teixeira, 54, of Mountain View died Oct. 7 at Hilo Medical Center. Born Oct. 7, 1958, in Honolulu, he was an auto mechanic and member of the Rock Island Riders Motorcycle Club.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. Nov. 10 at the Hospice of Hilo Chapel, 1011 Waianuenue Ave., for a celebration of life. Family requests casual attire be worn. Online condolences may be posted at homelanimemorialpark.com.
He is survived by parents, Wilbur and Rose Marie Teixeira of Kaneohe, Oahu; brothers, Larry (Kim) Teixeira of Reno, Nev., Jon (Terry) Teixeira and Paul Teixeira, both of Kaneohe, Oahu; sisters, Cindy (René) Cadiz of Makakilo, Oahu, Keokilani Keliikuli-Teixeira of Kurtistown; nieces and nephews.
