Antonio Gragas

Antonio Gragas, 78, of Los Angeles, formerly of Hawaii, died Oct. 27 at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born Aug. 23, 1934, in Hakalau, he was a retired aircraft mechanic for Delta and Western airlines and an Army veteran.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. Nov. 9 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for a 10:30 a.m. Mass. Burial follows at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Family requests casual attire be worn.

He is survived by sons, Bo (Luz Maria) Gragas and Aaron (Wendy) Gragas, both of California; sister, Linda (Fred) Maluenda of Ewa Beach, Oahu; brothers, Raymond (Alice) Gragas of Los Angeles, Phillip Gragas of Maui, Robert (Vel) Gragas of Honolulu; 11 grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
