Allison J. Pierce, 26, of Kailua-Kona pleaded no contest Sept. 24 to driving under the influence of alcohol. She was sentenced to pay $587 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Aidalynn Mateo Yurtola, 35, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Sept. 27 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. She was sentenced to pay $937 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

William G. Talley III, 49, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Aug. 27 to driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a license previously suspended for driving under the influence and inattention to driving. He was sentenced Oct. 1 to pay $1,011 in fines and fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, serve an unspecified amount of jail time, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Arthur B. Connelly, 53, of Kailua-Kona pleaded no contest Oct. 1 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and driving with an improper license. He was sentenced to pay $974 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.

Antonio Martinez-Armenta, 27, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Oct. 1 to driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to have no-fault motor vehicle insurance, driving with an improper license and inattention to driving. He was sentenced to pay $653 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. He must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time, and his license was revoked.

Donald L. Goddard, 58, of Kailua-Kona pleaded no contest Oct. 4 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $562 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
