Ronald Keiki Lopes Jr. was charged Thursday with first-degree burglary and two counts each of third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the Hawaii Police Department. His bail was set at $65,000.

Officers reportedly discovered Lopes in a Hawaiian Paradise Park home dismantling a solar power system. Police responded to the home after a 42-year-old man reported hearing noises from a nearby residence at which the occupant was not home.

Officers also allegedly observed a methamphetamine pipe with residue and syringes that were visible on the front seat of the car Lopes drove to the scene, according to police.
