Alternating lane closures in both directions continue this week on Kohala Mountain Road — state Highway 250 — between mile markers 2 and 7, in the vicinity of Waiaka Junction, for pavement resurfacing, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Alternating lane closures in both directions will also be in effect this week for pavement resurfacing on Akoni Pule Highway between mile markers 7 and 15, in the vicinity of Mahukona.

Alternating lane closures in both directions will also be in effect this week for pavement resurfacing on Mamalahoa Highway between Hina Lani Street and Old Kona Village Road.

Alternating lane closures in both directions will also be in effect this week for pavement reconstruction on Queen Kaahumanu Highway near mile marker 72, in the vicinity of Puako.

Crews will be working from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Road work is weather permitting.
