Michael Saito
Michael Takeo Saito, 58, of Hilo, died Oct. 8 at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born Aug. 15, 1954, in Kona, he was a professor at the Hawaii Community College Auto Body Repair and Painting program.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. Oct. 21 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for an 11:30 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by sons, Brad (Betty) Saito of Kailua, Oahu, Scott Saito of Hilo; daughter, Brandie (Jay) Munechika of Hilo; mother, Ukie Saito of Captain Cook; brother, Alan Saito of Hilo; sisters, Emi Saito and Lyn (Tony) Guillermo, both of Captain Cook, Marcia (John) Eckel of Walla Walla, Wash.; numerous nieces and nephews.
