Eleanor Voorhees Lawton Kerecman, 91, of Volcano, died Oct. 8 at a private care home in Mountain View. Born June 20, 1921, in Trenton, N.J., she was a teacher, caregiver and member of the Volcano Senior Citizens.

She is survived by daughters, Barbara Kerecman of Volcano, Karen (Albert) Smoczynski of Arcadia, Fla.
