Big Island Police are asking for the public’s help as they attemnpt to locatie a 66-year-old man reported missing by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department in Modesto, Calif.

Big Island Police are asking for the public’s help as they attemnpt to locatie a 66-year-old man reported missing by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department in Modesto, Calif.

Lucas Gonzales has ties to the Big Island and has lived in the Puna District, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds with a dark complexion, brown eyes, short, balding black hair and a black-and-white beard.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Officer Corina Apuakehau at 965-2716. Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 329-8181 in Kona or 961-8300 in Hilo. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
