Arthur Hitoshi Ota, 81, of Hilo died Sept. 27 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born Jan. 12, 1931, in Mountain View, he was retired from the former Hilo Macaroni Factory.
Private services were held. Family requests no monetary gifts or flowers.
He is survived by sister, Stella (Lawrence) Nakama of Honolulu; niece, Lisa (Allen Kahookaulana) Thomas of Pahoa; a grandniece; three grandnephews.
