Yukiko Murakami, 87, of Pearl City and Paauilo died Aug. 27 at the Pali Momi Medical Center on Oahu. Born in Paauhau, she was a homemaker, as well as a member of the Paauilo Hongwanji Mission and Kaapahu Kumiai.

Private services were held. The family requests no flowers and no monetary gifts.
She is survived by daughters, Susan (Adrian) Sakata of Honolulu, Kathy (Alan) Nakashima of Hilo; brother, Takeo Seo of California; sisters, Toshie Yamamoto of Honolulu, Masayo Hamora of Kentucky; four grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
