William “Tiki” Morris, 70, of Waikoloa, died Sept. 17 at his residence. Born March 28, 1942, in Honolulu, he was a retired firefighter from Kentfield Fire Department in Marin County, Calif., a lifetime member of the California State Firefighters’ Association, founder of the Tiki Golf Tournament and a member of the Waikiki Beach Boys in the 1950s and ’60s.

Friends may call at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 13 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 65-1168 Kapiolani Road in Waimea for an 11 a.m. service. Family requests no flowers. Condolences may be sent to P.O. Box 384261, Waikoloa, HI 96738.

He is survived by wife, Judy Morris, of Waikoloa; sister, Dee (Hubert) Griep, of Volcano; brother, Alika (Rose) Morris, of Las Vegas; numerous nieces and nephews.
