Big Island police are looking for a 41-year-old man who was reported missing.

Sumer Keoni McDowell was last seen at 4 a.m. Thursday in Ocean View. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and shorts and carrying a bucket and a blanket.

He has a medical condition that requires medication, according to police.

He is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 220 pounds with a fair complexion, light brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. McDowell is known to frequent the downtown Kailua-Kona area.

Police ask that anyone with information of his whereabouts call the Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.
