Alfredo Nazaire Sr.

Alfredo Justo Nazaire Sr., 66, of Waiohinu, died Aug. 23 at Ka‘u Hospital. Born April 20, 1946, in San Manuel, Pangasinan, Philippines, he was a retired houseman at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel, member of hotel union ILWU and a textile engineer in the Philippines.

Friends may call at 3 p.m. Sept.14 at the family’s residence at 94-6410 Kamaoa Road in Naalehu for an all-night vigil. Friends may also call at 8 a.m. Sept. 15 at the Assembly of God Church in Naalehu for a 10 a.m. service. Burial follows at the Naalehu County Cemetery. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.

He is survived by wife, Precy Nazaire, of Waiohinu; sons, Rudy (Emely) Nazaire, Percival (Marife) Nazaire, Prexy (Roselyn) Nazaire and Fregy (Lovelyn) Nazaire, all of Kailua-Kona, Ferdinand Nazaire and Alfredo (Lina) Nazaire, both of Oahu; daughter, Prelyn Nazaire, of Oahu; brothers, Vuenaventura Nazaire, Romeo (Melan) Nazaire and Warlito (Enriqueta) Nazaire, all of the Philippines, Dino (Jane) Nazaire, of Singapore; sisters, Nely (Juvencio) Salmo and Rose De Guzman, both of United Kingdom; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
