Jimmy Sakae Aburamen, 85, of Hilo, died Sept. 5 in Hilo. Born Nov. 23, 1926, in Hilo, he was a retired vice president and general manager for the former Excelsior Dairy (Foremost), World War II Army veteran and member of Higashi Hongwanji Mission and Anela Street Kumiai.

Private services were held.

He is survived by wife, Shizuko Aburamen, of Hilo; son, Stanley (Diane) Aburamen, of Honolulu; daughters, Linda (Neal Kawachi) Nako and Cheryl (Anthony) Navarro, both of Hilo, Gwyne (Mark) Sakihara, of Wailuku, Maui; brother, George (Evelyn) Aburamen, of Hilo; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
