Halau Hula Ka Makani Hali Ala O Puna, under the direction of kumu hula Ehulani Stephany, will grace the pa hula in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park with its Hawaiian dance and chant during a 10:30 a.m. Saturday performance.

Audience members are encouraged to bring mats for sitting on the grass and be prepared for variable weather conditions during the hourlong traditional hula presentation.

Also Saturday, traditional Hawaiian arts and craft demonstrations will be held on the front porch of the Volcano Art Center Gallery from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Demonstrations include hands-on displays and lessons where all ages are invited to meet, learn from and talk story with friendly and knowledgeable residents.

Park entrance fees apply and parking is limited; carpooling is recommended.
