Maude Kaipoleimanu Logan Kamalani, 86, of Waimea, died Aug. 28 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Kahuku, Oahu, she was a retired JCPD clerk with the Honolulu Police Department and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Services will be held at a future date.

She is survived by husband, David Kamalani of Waimea; son, David (Kiyoko) Kamalani, of Kula, Maui; caughters, Alva Kamalani of Waimea, Danielle (Fred) Kamalani-Patoc, of Honolulu; sister, May Lew, of Hauula, Oahu; brothers, Randolph (Yukie) Loganm, of Chatsworth, Calif., Ahi (Cherlyn) Logan, of Hauula, Oahu; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
