Gerardo Aguilar Garza, 27, of Kona pleaded guilty Aug. 13 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant, driving with an improper license, and failure to have no-fault motor vehicle insurance. He was sentenced to pay $1,121 in fines and fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. His license was also suspended.
Andre D. Hasselmann, 51, of Kona pleaded guilty July 9 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and disobedience to police officers. He was sentenced Aug. 13 to pay $474 in fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course and ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment. He must also perform an unspecified number of community service hours.
Josiah Kekoa Kalima-Padillio, 24, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Aug. 13 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $937 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Teddy P. Patterson III, 24, of Waikoloa pleaded no contest Aug. 13 to driving under the influence of alcohol and inattention to driving. He was sentenced to pay $474 in fees, referred to a driver’s education course, and ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment. He must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time and his license was suspended.
Jake Richard Romanak, 26, of Kailua-Kona pleaded guilty Aug. 13 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $437 in fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, and ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment. He must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time.
Isaak L. Weddle, 33, of Keaau pleaded guilty Aug. 13 to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to pay $587 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Gerard Daniel Charron, 68, of Waikoloa pleaded no contest Aug. 16 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and driving with an improper license. He was sentenced to pay $874 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. His license was also revoked.
