Big Island police are searching for Hilo resident Warren Dale Ellison, who was recently reported as missing.

Big Island police are searching for Hilo resident Warren Dale Ellison, who was recently reported as missing.

Ellison, 54, has a health condition that requires medication. He is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with short red hair, a red mustache and a goatee. He wears a purple Minnesota Vikings ball cap, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311 or Detective Ernest Matsumoto at 961-2379. Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
