Marian Rapozo

Marian Mitsuko Kodani Rapozo, 84, of Honokaa, died Aug. 9 at home. Born Jan. 19, 1928, in Honokaa, she was the proprietress of C.C. Jon’s Snack-in’ Shoppe in Honokaa and member of Honokaa Hongwanji Mission.

Friends may call at 3 p.m. Aug. 25 at Honokaa Hongwanji Mission for a 4 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

She is survived by sons, Gary Rapozo, of Waimea, Kirk (Lolita) Rapozo, of Hilo; daughters, Gaylyn (Freddy) Nobriga, Colette (Ivan) Yamamoto and Odetta (Crist) Pung, all of Hilo, Joni Rapozo, of Honokaa, Noella Rapozo-Reyes, of Waimea; sisters, Marge Tanimoto, of Ohio, Bebe Ponce, of Honokaa, June (Thomas) Konno, of California; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two aunts; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
