Howard G. Medeiros, 58, of Hilo, died July 31 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a volunteer service coordinator with the Hawaii County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. Aug. 25 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou for a 10 a.m. Mass. Urn committal services follow at Homelani Memorial Park in Hilo. Family requests casual attire be wirn and no flowers or monetary donations.
He is survived by brother, John (Joan) Medeiros, of Hilo; sister, Jean Alves, of Hilo; two aunts; cousins, nieces and nephews.
