An autopsy has determined that 49-year-old Barry Bokmej of Kawaihae died from cardiac arrest.

An autopsy has determined that 49-year-old Barry Bokmej of Kawaihae died from cardiac arrest.

On June 4, Bokmej was found unresponsive on a roof he had been pressure-washing, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

Bokmej and another man reportedly were hired to make repairs at a Waimea home. Bokmej was apparently pressure-washing the roof when he was found unresponsive, according to police. He was taken to Kona Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
