Norman “Norms” Kauhane Macomber, Jr., 34, of Hilo died at the Hilo Medical Center on Aug. 10. Born in Hilo, he was a warehouseman with HPM Building Supply and vice president of Aupuni ‘O Hawaii.

Friends may call 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Dodo Mortuary chapel, where a Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. The family requests casual attire and flowers be omitted.

He is survived by his daughters, Anela Macomber, Kaimana Macomber, Hokulei Macomber, Wailea Macomber and Nakiliwai Macomber, all of Hilo; companion, Nalani Davis of Hilo; parents, Norman, Sr. and Pearl “Elena” Macomber of Hilo; brothers, James Macomber, Romann Macomber and Ryon Macomber, all of Hilo; sisters, Elythe (Scott) Spencer and Norelle Kaoiwi, both of Hilo, and Alora Macomber of Las Vegas; maternal grandmother, Pearl Kaoiwi of Hilo; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.
