Abednigo Guevarra
Abednigo “Abe” Belmonte Guevarra, 75, of Keaau, died Aug. 8 at his residence. Born Sept. 19, 1936, in Olaa, he was a retired cashier for the state at Pahoa Elementary School.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. Aug. 25 at Puna Covenant Church in Keaau for a 10:30 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by sons, Bryant Guevarra and Chad Guevarra, both of Keaau; hanai family, Grant (Emma) Mcquate, of Mountain View; a grandchild; numerous nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephews and great-grandnieces.
