Hilo man Justin Satoru Okazaki-Shimahara is wanted on an outstanding warrant, and the Hawaii Police Department is asking for public assistance.

Hilo man Justin Satoru Okazaki-Shimahara is wanted on an outstanding warrant, and the Hawaii Police Department is asking for public assistance.

Okazaki-Shimahara, 28, is described as Japanese, about 5-foot-10, about 330 pounds with brown eyes and short black hair. He has a tattoo of a cartoon character on his left abdomen area, police said.

Okazaki-Shimahara is wanted on a warrant for contempt of court. He is also sought for questioning in an unrelated investigation, police said.

Callers may also call the Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311. Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
