Sarah Sogi
Sarah M. Sogi, 88, of Kailua-Kona, died Aug. 14 at her home. Born March 1, 1924, in Kealakekua, she was an ikebana instructor, sculptor, was active on the National Board and World Service Council of the YWCA, and an was activist in White Plains, N.Y.
Services will be announced at a later date. Donations to the Sogi Foundation are requested in lieu of flowers.
She is survived by her son, Jun Sogi, of Kailua-Kona; two grandchildren.
