Michie Kamitaki, 91, died July 28 at Kona Community Hospital on July 28, 2012. Born in November 1920 in Kona, she was a public health nurse for the state.
She has been interred at Punchbowl National Cemetery of the Pacific.
She is survived by children, Lisa and Stuart; siblings, Itsuko Takamura, Fumiko Yoshikawa, Mitsugi Komo, Richard Komo, David Komo and Emiko Kaneko.
