Westervelt makes comment on UPW story
Because of technical problems, a comment from County Council District 6 candidate Brad Westervelt for Wednesday’s article on union-endorsed candidates was not received by press time. Westervelt, an invited candidate to the UPW meetings, said he thinks it’s appropriate that the union, having vetted candidates for endorsement, would want workers to be able to meet them. He said it’s appropriate that it be done on county time and property if that’s what the union contracts allow.
It is the policy of West Hawaii Today to correct promptly any incorrect or misleading information when it is brought to the attention of the newspaper.
